PATRIOTIC Front (PF) chief executive officer Davis Mwila says he is more than ready to make PF a more attractive party.
Mr Mwila said he would do that by evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of the current party programmes, revisit the mobilization and membership recruitment starting with Northern Province.
He said while in Kasama he would meet all provincial committee members, district committee members, constituency committee members, four members from each ward (chairman, secretary, chairlady and youth chairperson), and all Members of Parliament as well as councillors.
In a statement issued to the Daily Nation yesterday by PF media director Sunday Chanda to mark the start of his five days tour of Northern Province, Mr. Mwila explained that the main objective for the tour was to mobilize PF as Zambia’s ruling Party. He would also evaluate effectiveness and efficiency of current party programming, including the re-visitation the mobilization and membership recruitment interventions in the province.
“I will also call for discipline and loyalty in the Party to make the Patriotic Front more attractive and Zambia’s number one party of choice,” Mr Mwila said.
He said he would also call on all structures to familiarise themselves with the PF’s 2016 to2021 election manifesto in communicating development to the citizens in the province.
