Put road humps in Chongwe

I am appealing to Chongwe District Council to consider putting up humps along Great East Road especially the stretch between Finance Bank and Chongwe bridge. This stretch has residential areas on both sides and is a death trap for pedestrians. Recently, an elderly lady was crushed to death by a speeding vehicle leaving part of her cranium on the tarmac. Less than three months ago, a South African truck driver almost ploughed through a group of people at a bar but succeeded in reducing a toilet to rubble. What more fatalities is the council waiting for before working on this section of the road?
