LAZ is a “captured” disgraceful organization
Dear Editor,
For the entire Law Association of Zambia to issue a statement at variance with a genuine complaint raised by a Judge is the ultimate in cartel organisational capture.
Judge Chitabo wrote to the UPND warning them about the tendency to bring cadres to court. His advice was ignored by HH and his vice-president GBM who brought along hordes of chanting sloganeering cadres.
This was contrary to the instructions that the Judge had given to the party.
As predicted by the Judge, the cadres become unruly and attempted to enter the chamber where the matter was being heard.
This was totally uncalled for and a complete departure from the conduct of right thinking people.
It is, therefore, amazing that LAZ is blaming the police to have provoked the cadres and in the process used live ammunition. What nonsense is this coming from LAZ?
This organisation has completely lost direction because it is being led by individuals with an interest in opposition members at social level. In addition, there are known cartel members in the executive of the Association.
In all fairness some action must be taken against the authors of the last LAZ statement which shows total disregard for the truth and instead wants to support the unruly conduct of cadres who were sponsored to court to cause mayhem against the better advice of the presiding Judge.
This show of impunity is not acceptable and must be condemned in the strongest terms possible.
Lawyers of this country must redeem themselves from this notorious drive towards a partisan, nonsensical body.

HH hatred for Lungu shocking
Dear Editor,
I am now more than convinced that the UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema has hatred for President Lungu.
To call your president a thug, just because he was tear-gassed along with his unruly but organised UPND thugs, I think is the worst form of disrespect from a fellow leader.
Sure HH, how did President Lungu instigate the action which was clearly started by your ferocious thugs because in the first place you are the one who invited them to the court?
President Lungu may not have acted up to this point, but every human being has a breaking point and once that happens I can bet my life HH and his minions may live to regret for the rest of life.
You know better the life of the opposition camps in Africa. You have seen what is happening in nearby Zimbabwe or Uganda.
That can also happen in Zambia and the wealth that you have can remain rotting and get wasted by people who never sweated form them. Yes, it always happens.
To tell HH the truth, when this country goes up in fire, it is his people who will suffer the most while he flies away to Europe.
Indeed, it is all easy to start trouble but difficult to stop it.
I know HH cannot be bothered with peace in Zambia because he is not president and perhaps also he knows that he never will be one in his life time and so the best he can do is create problems for others. Cheap strategy, I would say.
I do not think that even Lucifer would sink that low just because one lost elections.
But like I have stated earlier on every one of us has a breaking point and nobody knows who may come out of it the winner should President Lungu’s also lose his temper and act.
I am not a PF fan but a patriotic citizen who could have respected HH had he won the 2016 polls as I am wishing the same for President Lungu.
My concern is total disrespect for people in top leadership who were put there by the people. Imagine this was happening to HH, would he have loved it? I do not think so. There can be only be one president at a time and for now it is President Lungu whether HH or his cohorts like it or not.
Like HH I am also failing to describe his leadership and that of his veep Geoffrey Mwamba.
Unfortunately, for Zambia there are many leaders out there especially from the opposition who unthinkingly have lied and chosen the lust of the flesh over obeying God.
Such leaders will always dedicate their lives to deceiving others. You can easily know them by their actions.

Zambia’s spineless security wings
Dear Editor,
I think our current government is extremely timid because how else can one describe the level of lawlessness being allowed by the UPND leadership and nobody is bothered?
Does the PF want to wait until HH has put this country into a furnace for them to act?
I have no problem with HH or GBM. I have problem with my government for being so scared of people breaking the law with impunity. What is special about HH or his deputy GBM that they can insult and behave in any manner they like? Is it possible that Zambia has spineless security wings?
Like someone had earlier suggested, President |Lungu should make the Copperbelt Police commissioner Charity Katanga so that she overhauls police operations which have currently gone rusty.
That lady who is also a trained lawyer, I think can make a lot of difference, but of course the final say is with the President himself.

Where is ZNBC television guide?
Dear Editor,
Zambia was the first country in Southern Africa to have a Television Station.
However, we are now so backwards that state run Zambian National Broadcasting Corporation is the only channel on DSTV which doesn’t show the programme guide. The way ZNBC is operating is like a school without a timetable for pupils. May ZNBC please give us a programme guide like other stations. We now even have decoders that can be set to record programmes on TV while you are engaged with other programmes.
Without a Programme guide it is impossible to use this technology with ZNBC TV. Let us move with global trends.
