‘DIFFIKOTI’ DEMANDS MUNALI RECOUNT
LOSING Munali independent parliamentary candidate Thomas Sipalo says his votes were stolen and has demanded a recount.
Mr Sipalo, popularly known as Diffikoti, said there was need to recount the votes because Munali constituency’s elections were marred by suspicious activities.
Mr Sipalo claimed that the people who were counting and totalling votes could not be trusted because a large number of the representatives were from the opposition political parties.
He however said he would not relent until he gets to parliament to represent the people of Munali because he was set to alleviate the problems in the constituency.
“All I need is the recount of the votes because I feel that my votes were stolen, hence the request for a recount so that we move on,” Mr Sipalo insisted.
