ZAOGA offers solution to address high numbers of divorce cases

The Zambia Assemblies of God in Africa (ZAOGA) has called on the church to revert to pre-marital counselling to help reverse  the high number of divorce  cases among married couples in the country.

ZAOGA Reverend Godfrey Chipoya told Millennium Radio in an interview  that it is important for the church to explore ways of reaching out to the new generation while maintaining the true meaning of the word of God.

“The couple would not know what marriage is and what marriage is not and  in the end,  they will copy anything that they see as marriage.

But we encourage the church to continue working on pre-marital counselling and to those who are already in marriage, we encourage you to get back to the foundation, because the owner of marriage, the one who began marriage is God, and he is the only one who is able to sustain it.
