Premier Futsal League seek partners

THE Premier Futsal League (PFL) says it needs partners to work with in maintaining the state-of-the-art Automotive Indoor Futsal Arena in the industrial area of Lusaka.
PFL chairman Tarak Mehta said the Futsal Arena which is the only certified futsal pitch in the country has played a key role to develop the standards of futsal in Zambia being the only certified venue for the Football Association of Zambia Premier Futsal League (FAZ/PFL.
Mehta said those wishing to partner with the PFL would benefit from the various services the facility offers as it also plays host to foreign teams.
He said the benefits of partnering with the PFL to sponsor the arena include naming rights of the arena, two framed billboards, and branding outside the arena.
Mehta said those wishing to partner with the PFL would also earn the right to change the name of the arena on google maps.
He said corporates interested to partner with the PFL for the sponsorship of the arena would also earn exclusive rights to use it for an agreed period.
“Those wishing to partner with us can get in touch through our social media handles. We have a very active Facebook page which we also use to promote the development of futsal in Zambia,” Mehta said.
On how the PFL was preparing for the new season, Mehta said; “Right now the league is on recess meaning clubs are preparing and strengthening their teams.”
“As the PFL, for us, the focus is now on the national team set to regroup very soon for their second camp after the closure of the 2022-2023 season which was eventually won by Automotive. Our aim is to ensure that the team is prepared for the much-anticipated 2024 Futsal Africa Cup qualifiers scheduled to resume soon,” he said.
