Clemy Zm: Determined Young Entrepreneur

Apart from helping youths become Independent, youth entrepreneurship helps
promote economic growth, provides access to goods and services, and improves the overall standard of living through the creation of new values in the economy of a Nation. One such youth contributing to the growth of the country’s economy is, Clement Kangwa, known in the clothing business world as, Clemy Zm, a young energetic entrepreneur, CEO and proprietor of a clothing label tagged, “Jehovah Blessed My Hustle”.

Inspired by the late, American designer and entrepreneur who was perhaps best known as the founder of the fashion label Off-White and the creative director of Louis Vuitton men-swear, Virgil Abloh, (September 30, 1980 – November 28, 2021), Clement, said his goal is to become a full time coach in the fashion and designing industry, “Virgil Abloh’s confidence, determination, and passion which led him to becoming an important icon in street wear, and the clothing industry, inspired me to start my own clothing label business. I want to persue a degree in business administration so as to fulfill my mission as an entrepreneur and a full time fashion designer”

Clement, born in Kitwe and raised in Lusaka, first published his clothing label in 2021. He said the naming of the clothing label was inspired by two renowned Zambian footballers in, Patson Daka and Enoch Mwepu, with their slogan “Bola Na Lesa” to translate ‘Football With God’. Notable celebrities seen donning the clothing label which is making waves, is the gifted uprising, Triple M.

“The ‘Jehovah Blessed My Hustle’ clothing label echoes the need to step out of our comfort zone, take up courage and make calculated risks while maintaining the ability to believe in possibilities as the key formula for success,” he added.
