Veteran gospel musician Christine Nkole’s first ever collaboration as a solo artiste has received rave reviews on social media.

Popularly known by the mononym Christine, the gospel musician has collaborated with Pastor Gift Kaputula on her latest single dubbed ‘Mfisa Yesu’.

The latest approach has cheered social media users with a number of accounts giving the latest worship record a seal of approval.

Among the host of social media users is Minister of Mines and Minerals Development Paul Kabuswe.

“Wee YESU mfisa..!
Thanks Christine and Pastor Kaputula,” the Minister posted on his official Facebook page.

The artiste has lined up other collaborations for her forthcoming yet to be titled album which is set for release in the second half of the year.

The artiste confirmed that Temwani Mbuzi and Chileshe Bwalya have both been enlisted for guest appearances on the project.

Christine said she needed to establish her brand as a solo artiste before considering to record duets with others.

“I have always wanted to collaborate with other artistes, however, in my first three albums, I was finding my grip as a solo artiste and was laying a foundation for the Christine Nkole brand,” she said.

The musician has set an ambitious target of taking the message of Jesus Christ beyond Zambian borders.

“The future is about impact and touching lives at a higher level than we have. We want to see transformation in Zambia but if God could give us Africa and the world that would be great.”

‘Mfisa Yesu’ is available on all major streaming platforms.
