THE Lusaka Magistrate Court has moved to November 18, 2024 a date in which a Lusaka business executive, Harry Findlay is expected to open his defence in a matter he is charged with holding more than one passport.Earlier, Findlay could not open his defence because he was unwell. One of his lawyers, Mr. Changano has submitted that his client was unable to open his defence because his blood pressure (BP) had gone high. The defence team therefore made an application before court to release Findlay’s passport so that he could travel to South Africa for medical attention.

Findlay is charged with two counts of holding more than one passport and found with endorsements of forged immigration stamps, the charge he denied. It is alleged in count one, that Findlay on October 3, 2022, in Lusaka, did acquire a Zambian passport number ZP021382, purporting to have lost a Zambian passport number ZP013259, contrary to the fact.
In the second count, it is alleged that on the same date, Findlay was found in possession of endorsements of forged immigration stamps for Mwami immigration border control in his passport number ZP032178, purporting that it was officially endorsed when in fact not.
