ZAMBIAN midfielder Klings Kangwa is drawing attention from Bulgarian powerhouse CSKA Sofia, according to Mozzart Sport.
Kangwa, who played a crucial role in Zambia’s qualification campaign for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, has reportedly made CSKA Sofia’s January transfer wish list.
The Bulgarian club, a record 31-time top-flight champion, is keen on acquiring the talented player.
Currently playing for Hapoel Be’er Sheva in Israel, Kangwa has found his form and become an integral part of the team.
The 24-year-old signed a four-year contract with Be’er Sheva just four months ago, making the move from Serbian champions Red Star Belgrade.
Hapoel Be’er Sheva is said to have set the Zambian international’s price tag at €5 million, reflecting his importance to the club. Despite CSKA Sofia’s interest in bringing Kangwa back to the Balkans during the winter transfer window, they face a tough challenge, as the midfielder’s contract with Be’er Sheva runs until 2028.
Since joining Hapoel Be’er Sheva, Kangwa has featured in 11 games, scoring two goals and providing four assists across all competitions.
