Middlemen making ZNS mealie meal expensive

THE Zambia National Service (ZNS) is becoming more expensive and unfordable among the targeted groups because the service has engaged the services of middlemen, most of whom are UPND cadres and cooperatives run by ruling party zealots, it has been disclosed.
Yesterday, Central Province Permanent Secretary Milner Mwanakapwe was at pains to explain and justify the involvement of middlemen in the procurement and distribution of the ZNS Eagle mealie meal in the province.
