India donates 2,500MT of maize to Zambia

THE Indian government has donated 2,500 metric tonnes of maize to Zambia in response to the country’s ongoing food security challenges, particularly due to the devastating drought in the recent farming season.
Speaking during the handover ceremony, yesterday, Indian High Commissioner to Zambia, Mr. Ashok Kumar, expressed his country’s unwavering commitment to supporting Zambia in times of crisis.
