Kawambwa polling agent shocked…

A POLLING agent at the recent Kawambwa by-election, which saw UPND candidate, Mr. Nason Musonda emerge victorious, expressed shock at the high voter turnout figures announced by the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ).
Mr. Musonda secured over 5,000 votes, while New Congress Party candidate Mr. Danstan Mwansa, backed by the Tonse Alliance, came second with over 3000.
However, an unnamed polling agent, stationed at one of the polling stations, was baffled by the discrepancy between the actual turnout she witnessed and the reported figures.
