Lusaka City Council Approves K1BN 2025 budget

THE Lusaka City Council (LCC) has approved a budget for the year 2025 totaling K1, 079, 607, 654.00, marking a significant increase over the previous year.
This decision was made during a special council meeting in the Council Chamber, led by Mayor Chilando Chitangala.
Key allocations within the budget include K252, 407, 054.00 for the Constituency Development Fund (CDF), K269, 920, 839.00 for local governance, and K51, 068,144.00 for public health and environmental protection.
