UPND in serious panic over ECL – Changala

IT is clear that the UPND government played a significant role in influencing the judgement of the Constitutional Court that has nullified the eligibility of Zambia’s Sixth President Edgar Lungu from contesting the 2026 general election, Brebner Changala has said.
Mr Changala, the civil rights and political activist has expressed grave concern over the government’s insistence on knowing former President Lungu’s Plan B, claiming it is an indication that the UPND had manipulated the judgement.
He described the government’s actions as politically motivated and accused state of being behind the Constitutional Court’s controversial ruling.
