Zambia, Zim diplomatic tension raises concerns – Mwamba

EMMANUEL Mwamba, a former Zambia’s Permanent Representative to the African Union, has voiced concerns over the growing diplomatic tension between Zambia and Zimbabwe, highlighting recent developments that have strained the bilateral relationship.
Mr. Mwamba pointed to the renaming of Kenneth Kaunda Avenue in Harare to Fidel Castro Avenue and the introduction of hefty transit fees on Zambian goods as key examples of souring ties.
