IMF suggests fossil fuel investments for energy security

THE International Monetary Fund (IMF) has recommended scaling back fossil fuel investments should be matched by increases in clean energy supplies to reduce long-term energy security risks.
In addition, it highlighted investments in climate adaptation and infrastructure to be essential, particularly for regions most vulnerable to climate shocks.
