REIGNING Female Africa Footballer of the Year, Barbra Banda, has finished as the continent’s top goalscorer, edging out Malawi’s Temwa Chawinga.
Banda’s stellar performance this season saw her helping Orlando Pride claim their first league title in the United States National Women’s Soccer League, alongside an impressive goal-scoring spree.
The Copper Queens captain also shone brightly at the Paris Olympics, where she netted a hat trick for Zambia, and later played a crucial role in securing the country’s qualification for this year’s WAFCON.
