Hauptle’s appointment inappropriate – Mutale

OUTSPOKEN football administrator, Damiano Mutale has strongly criticised the recent appointment of Nora Hauptle as the new coach for the Zambia Women’s National Football Team, the Copper Queens, calling it an inappropriate decision.
This comes just a month before the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) elections.
Mutale, a vocal figure in Zambian football administration, expressed his concerns over the timing of the appointment, particularly given the fact that FAZ is set for leadership elections at the end of February 2025.
