Kagem Emerald Mine arm-twisting gov’t – EPWOZ

ZAMBIANS do not expect arm-twisting tactics from giant emerald mining companies, but want them to create lucrative jobs and business opportunities that will contribute to poverty alleviation and economic recovery, Emerald Production Watch of Zambia (EPWOZ) has said.
Musa Kafimbwa, the EPWOZ president says the decision by the giant Kagem Emerald Mining Company to suspend its operations citing an oversupply of Zambian emeralds was an attempt to arm-twist government.
