Kampyongo questions motive of petitioning ConCourt to revisit decision on ministers’ illegal stay in office

STEPHEN Kampyongo has questioned the motive of lawyer Miza Phiri to have petitioned the Constitutional Court to reverse its decision of 2016 on Cabinet Ministers stay in office after the dissolution of Parliament.

Mr Kampyongo, the former Home Affairs Minister says he was one of the people who were affected by the ConCourt ruling on the ministers who held office after Cabinet was dissolved in 2016 and is wondering in whose interest lawyer Miza Phiri was pursuing the matter.
