Munir didn’t incite violence, Milenge MP tells court

MILENGE Member of Parliament, Gystave Chonde, has testified in defense of his colleague, Munir Zulu, who is facing sedition charges.

Chonde stated that Zulu’s words were not intended to incite violence against the government, but rather to appeal to President Hakainde Hichilema to address the injustices faced by opposition MPs.

Chonde noted that the mood during the press briefing was somber, and that Zulu’s address was clear in its intention to urge the President to act.
