Nkombo suspends Chongwe Mayor, all councilor for 3 months

LOCAL Government and Rural Development Minister, Gary Nkombo has suspended all councillors of the Chongwe Municipal Council for 90 days over allegations of illegal land allocate alienation.
Mr Nkombo has since appointed Charlston Hamulyata as a Local Government Administrator to oversee the council’s operations during their suspension.
