PETROL CRISIS LOOMING

NEITHER the government nor the Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) have been able to adequately explain the continued shortage of petroleum products in the country, particularly petrol which is currently in critical short supply in many parts of the country.
But energy expert, Johnstone Chikwanda has said that the persistent shortage of petroleum products, particularly petrol has nothing to do with the political violence in Mozambique but has everything to do with the Oil Marketing Companies inability to use alternative routes to bring the product in the country.
