FOOTBALL Association of Zambia (FAZ) President Andrew Kamanga says sports can be a significant source of foreign exchange, with many countries benefitting from remittances by athletes working abroad, as well as merchandise and media rights sales.
Kamanga made these remarks during a courtesy call to Minister of Finance and National Planning, Dr. Situmbeko Musokotwane, where he outlined FAZ’s goal of achieving financial independence for the national football team.
