PPP model only benefiting politicians, complain small-scale contractors

THE Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, which Government has continued using and boasting about is benefitting politicians more than local contractors, the Small and Medium Scale contractors have complained.
They are complaining that contracts being awarded through PPP are in fact awarded based on recommendations from high-ranking UPND officials.
Since coming into power, the UPND government has prioritised the PPP model for major capital projects, particularly in infrastructure development.
