US unlikely to cut funding of Lobito Corridor Project – ECFR

THE European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR) says they do not see a pullout of the United States of America from the Lobito Corridor project due to the change of administration.
ECFR Africa Programme Senior Policy Fellow Maddalenna Procopio, said American interest in the Lobito Corridor remains high.
Ms. Procopio stated that from recent consultations with US officials, there were no indications of a withdrawal despite policy shifts in the new administration.
